  • Not enough call-to-action – Examine your website. Can people clearly see what steps they need to take in order to make a purchase or contact your company? If the only opportunity for conversion is through a single form on the contact page, you need to add more call-to-action and conversion opportunities throughout the website.
  • Useless content – Let’s say that you have a great social media campaign in place that drives users to your site. If those visitors can’t find what they need once they hit your site, you’re wasting time and money.  Make sure that your content delivers answers that your target audience is after.
  • Overwhelming content – Your website might be so jammed with images and other distracting items that your users forget why they came to your site in the first place. Minimize excessive images, chunky text or other features that may cause leads to leave your site without doing anything for your bottom line.
  • Meh – If you find that visitors aren’t interested in your product or service you may have priced yourself out of the market or you’re not selling high-interest items. Review what you’re offering to ensure that you’re priced competitively and you clearly illustrate why you are better than your competition.

Spend time and resources in making corrections to your site, and start getting the conversions that you deserve.
