We previously discussed that Bing would be releasing product ads later this year. It looks like that time has arrived. Well, at least in beta with a couple of major retailers. One retailer that has been noted so far is Walmart. This will be good for many retailers. Depending on how Bing (and Yahoo, since they share much of their advertising platform) rolls this out, tentative listing fees, etc., this could allow retailers to bypass middle-man advertising methods or, supplement them. This could be a big opportunity for those of you in the e-commerce space. We’ll continue to post updates as this feature rolls out.
