I’m Isaac Parkinson, the founder and owner of Skin Grip. And at Skin Grip, we make tape that covers CGM sensors for type 1 diabetics. Back in 2013, my little brother Josh was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. And it wasn’t until a few years later that he actually was uh able to get a CGM sensor and insulin pump from our insurance. And when he
started doing that, it was obviously a big change and really helped him out. U made his life a lot easier. But we still noticed that there were times when uh the sensor would fall off. So we figured, you know, why don’t we just create something that could keep the sensor on longer? Uh something for someone that lives an active lifestyle and has type 1 diabetes. And so we made this pre-cut adhesive tape. We started back in 2016 and we’ve now created over a hundred different uh items and colors.
So when we started our business um we launched on Amazon and so that was our main focus was optimizing for Amazon. We knew that we wanted to slowly trend off Amazon and start building a bigger brand on our own on our website. And one of the first things we wanted to make sure we did was uh have a good foundation of SEO. And so I looked up SEO National and saw they had a lot of good reviews. um a lot of people in my network trusted them and uh I decided to reach out to to Damon and the team at SEO National and uh just more information and I really felt like they were super honest.
