So, Evolutionary Martial Arts, we’re Karai Studio. Uh, we teach all ages. We offer um self-defense courses for adults as well as striking classes. A lot of our staff members here have known me or trained with me for several years. And it just brings such a flow to our business and the way we teach. So, the backstory on how I met Damon was pretty simple. He brought some of his family members into the karate studio to take lessons. We were told, “You guys have to close down.” That brought together the Zoom aspect and I had done nothing on Zoom and I think I it was like a Sunday and I hit him up on a text message and I’m like, “Dude, I’m so sorry to bother you, but this is what we think we’re going to do. do you have any like hey do this or absolutely don’t do that and the way he jumped in was unbelievable. He took us from teaching hundreds of students on a weekly basis in person to
teaching them online in a matter of days.

We have recognized Damon as being the right choice because we have learned that it’s great to have a team like his behind us. It’s not a plugandplay type thing. He doesn’t give us what he gave his last business that he was consulting, but he catered everything to exactly what our needs were. A business has to continually redefine themselves
to survive and he’s given us a leg to stand on.

So SEO National actually revamped our entire website during this co process. It allowed us to post YouTube videos on explaining how the students would be coming into the studio and where they would have to go and how that process would work and and because it was it changed. We were really embedded into the community. So, we relied so much on the word of mouth and the drive by traffic. Now, with our website and that SEO backing it, we’re right up there.

Before you could search evolutionary martial arts and you might find a studio in Washington or something like that. Now you search us or you search karate near me and we’re at the top of the list. We’ve got students right now from Syracuse all the way to Alaska, which is um a lot different story than it was this time last year.
