A little less than two weeks ago, Google announced an update to their search algorithm that would impact an estimated 35% of searches.  This update is meant to pull new and “fresh” content and display it higher in search results.  Google figures that more recent content is most likely to be more relevant than older content and more likely to be what the searcher is looking for.
